Terminal

In connection with the expansion of the airport at Nuuk, the existing terminal building and AFIS tower will be demolished as part of the project. At the same time, new airport buildings will be established.

The new terminal building at Nuuk is designed so that the building can accommodate 400 arriving and 400 departing passengers at the same time. The service building is designed to accommodate all the equipment for the operation of the airport.

South of the current terminal area, a new terminal building and service building will be built for the airport’s equipment and supplies. The tower function is located in an independent tower building at the west gable of the current equipment garage.
